Static IP address

How to arrange a static (fixed) IP address.

With the PowerRouter this is not possible, you will have to do this with the internet modem/router.

Like the PowerRouter, each networking device has an unique number called a Mac Address.
Within a modem/router it is mostly possible to configure it so that if a device with Mac address number xxxxxxx receives the same IP address.
Therefore always the same (fixed) IP address.

In order to arrange this you will need to enter the PowerRouter's Mac Address
(which can be seen using the installtool).
And connect this number with an IP address.
